Have you noticed that many of those \"professionals\" usually have only 1! uad1 or powercore in their setup?

I guess they have lots of other goodies to play with, as well.

Unless you're implying that the cards may be NFR's etc.... :wink:

anytime you feeze or render youre making that final decision and in mixing its nice to make all those decisions together as a whole.

I've never used feeze or render in any of my songs actually

I just can't for the life of me see needing that many plug ins. I mean, with one card I can run a couple 1176's, Dreamverb, a Fairchild, quite a few EX-1's if needed, and probably a Pultec or two. And still have processing power on the card left over.

LOL, I wish I was that lucky....

I´ve gone over 200% on three cards on some of my mixes, now I got a fourth card and still has to freeze a few channels...but that´s me
