Clicks and crackles... need help

Dear UAD forum

I'd need your help regarding my 2 UAD-1 (PCI) cards, as I have clicks and crackles and can't make them disappear. I get crackles as soon as I have several UAD plugs. Fortunately no crackles in the final wave file I render.

I work in Live 6 and if I delete all the UAD1 plugins in a given session, the clicks & crackles dissappear... Still I want to use those wonderful UAD1 plugs...

Here is my setup :

AMD 3700+ CPU
Motherboard GIGABYTE K8NF9 (Nforce 4 chipset - ethernet & audio disabled on the motherboard)
1 Gig of RAM
Video card ASUS EAX550 (Radeon 550, 256 Mb of RAM) on PCI Express
IDE Hard Drive for system / SATA Hard Drive for Audio
DIGI001 Soundcard (PCI)
2 UAD1 cards (PCI) - v4.6 - plugs I use the most are the Plate 140, the Space Echo, the Cambridge EQ and the 1176 LN & SE
Win XP SP2, with all the windows updates; tweaked for best audio performance; 1 gig of swap file on another IDE drive
Ableton Live 6.0.7 (last version)
no internet connection, no antivirus or firewall software

My motherboard has 3 PCI slots, in the first one there is a UAD1 card. The 1st slot shares its IRQ with the Firewire parts of the motherboard and the videocard (and I can't change it, the mobo is designed that way). I tried to take out the UAD card in this 1st PCI slot but I still had crackles.
Then I've got the other UAD1 and the DIGI001 in the 2 other PCI slots, and each of them has its own IRQ.

All my drivers are uptodate.

I tried many things but it didn't help :

- changing PCI latency of my PCI cards
- changing the IRQs
- adding extra buffers
- having only one UAD1 card
- changing the audio buffer of Live (now set to 256)
- reading the UAD forum --> found similar posts but it didn't help

Any help would be more than welcome and much appreciated, as I'm kind of blocked right now, the crackles are really a pain in the a** when trying to finish a song ;)

Thanks a lot in advance,

All the best from France
