Colortone, Angeltone....

Any comments on Colortone and Angeltone would be greatly appreciated.

hi,

i tried colortone (pro) and liked it, but haven't bought it yet. i think URS cs pro is better, though i think 3X the price. colortone is definitely worth downloading the demo--try it out! then, demo urs cs pro.

haven't even heard of angeltone, i'll have to check that one out.

They both sound great, really musical and soulful. especially the tape emulations on colourtone. The problem is they're really flakey I had loads of problems with them on my system so I had to uninstall them. I only install them when I need to use them. I found the pro versions were worse than the free ones for this, but the plugs aren't as tweakable. If you can get them to run then you'll be really pleased but beware
