Consolidate

Have not found a way of consolidating 2 audio tracks in one track. For example: Selecting Track 01 strings part 1, and on a seperate track 02 strings part 2. And have them as one .

I have only managed to consolidate 2 audio files, only, if they are on the same track.

You can't consolidate audio that is not 'together', i.e., on one track.

If they don't overlap move the audio files to one track, then consolidate.
If they do overlap you would 'mix down'. If you don't use in 'real time' it is quite quick, although obviously not instant.

You can drag 2 mono tracks onto a stereo track if you like. It's a bit of an odd workflow, but you can do it.
