Cracky Audio problem with UAD1 cards

I have a Athlon X2 4400+, with Gigabyte GA K8NS Ultra939 Motherboard, 2 gigs of RAM, 2 UAD1 Cards ver 4.3, M-Audio 1814 Card, RME Multiface card, Creamware Pulsar card.

My problem is that whenever I use UAD1 effects with M-Audio 1814 and RME Multiface cards I get cracking in the audio. No matter what the latency the cards are set up to I get a bad audio. Creamware Pulsar plays ok, but it has it's own set of problems.
Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

I've tried different PCI Slots, UAD1 cards one at a time, different Firewire busses for 1814 card - with no results.

Thanks for help

i was getting crackles in nuendo when my uad's (i have 2) reached 90%+ i looked at the performance meter in nuendo and it was spiking, jumping from 40% to 90% etc. So there was a relationship between the uad reaching its max would cause erratic behavior in nuendo.
What i did to solve the problem was added the /3GB /Userva=2900 switches to my boot.ini and the problem disappeared instantly. why did this work? i have no f'ken clue... but it did, and i'm happy.

What AMD Routing switch? Don't know what that is.
Bios, I have everything not necessary turned off.
Dual Processor - (Dual Core in my case) - Yes!

As far as 3 gig switch, I'll have to read up on the Virtual Instruments magazine article about this because at one time I've tried the 3 gig switch and I ended up having to reinstall everything. What a pain that was.

As far as cracking audio - I can have one audio track running with one or two UAD1 plugs and I will hear cracking when using Firewire audio card. If I have more tracks no audio will play.
