Cubase SX3 users give new UAD-1 user some config guidance?

Hello everyone!

Any Cubase SX3 users that can give me any advice about configuring AUD-1 with Cubase?

I finally received my UAD-1 card and have not used it yet. I am currently reading the user manual .pdf and trying to understand delay compensation and track advance when using AUD plugins with Cubase SX3 VSTi plugs.

Don't worry about that stuff. SX3 takes care of PDC. It's pretty much plug and play. If you get snaps,stuttering or pops, check your IRQs . and try a different PCI slot.

I too believed it was all plug-in-play until I read the UAD .pdf manual and started reading all the examples for delay comensation in Cubase and then I started getting scared.

I guess I am a little confused because the most recent UAD .pdf manual has several pages on how to configure the delay compensation tool for different type of Cubase setups. (Eg, Inserting the delay compensation tool on tracks not using UAD sends?)

Tha manual also says Cubase SX does not apply delay comensation on VSTi tracks.

Yes, SX has had full PDC since v.2.
