Hello,


so many new computer stuff got released, that confuses
me....

maybe you guys can help me - i am looking for a PC as a DAW, not too

expensive, that allows me to do professional recording.

can u suggest something easy and powerful please?

I want to work with Cubase/Nuendo/Live and UAD.

You kind of answered your own question there. If you want to work with video as well as Audio, professional dolby formats and so on, choose Nuendo otherwise Cubase should meet your needs.

Ableton Live does have some great features however I don't think it meets all a producers requirements, so using Live as a performance tool rather than your main sequencer could be the way too go.

Inexpensive is such an unavoidable luxury although you could probably get a preconfigured package from Carillion Music with some of these options. The UAD Ultra Pak or UAD Flexi with coupon vouchers won't go wrong either. My faves are Pultec Pro, Precision Multiband, Precision Limiter and Realverb Pro.

However getting a UAD Project Pack and building up your plug-in collection could be the thing to do. That's what I did.
