Delay compensation not updating in SSL 360 link plugin wrapper

I've been getting some troublesome phase issues and slapback delays using Pro Q3 in the SSL 360 link wrapper in Luna. Here's my interpretation of the issue and the simple workaround.
I've copied the information below to SSL, Fab Filter and UA support.

Mac OS 14.4.1
UAD Luna 1.5.5.3477
SSL 360 1.7.8
SSL 360 LINK 1.0.3.3
Fab Filter Pro Q3 3.25

When using Fab Filter Pro (VST3 version) within the SSL 360 link plugin wrapper in UAD Luna, there is a problem with delay compensation as follows: If you switch the Pro Q3 modes between Zero Latency, Natural Phase or Linear Phase, audible phase cancellation or slapback echoes are heard indicating that the delay compensation is not being updated with the SSL 360 link wrapper. You do not get this issue if Pro Q3 is instantiated directly as an Audio Units plugin in a Luna insert. The workaround seems to be to set the preferred Pro Q3 mode, disable the 360 link plugin and then re-enable. So presumably the SSL 360 link wrapper only receives latency information from the Pro Q3 plugin on initial activation or reactivation.

I suspect that's a limitation of the wrapper and is expected.

But please do update this thread as you get replies from the various Support systems.

On further testing other manufactures plugins seem to be having the same issue, for example Waves Linear EQ etc.

Ralph from Fab Filter believes that the problem lies with SSL 360 link plugin;

“This seems like an SSL issue not passing through delay compensation directly. I'm afraid they need to fix this internally. Our plug-ins communicate the delay correctly, I'm afraid that's all we can do about it. If you have any more questions, just let us know!”

I'll try replicating the issue in ProTools.
Still waiting to hear back from SSL.
