I've also just downloaded 4.1 but in my authorizations list it says my demo for the Multiband has expired. This could be because I rolled back from version 4.0 to 3.8 before going to 4.1 as I had crackles on rendering. I'll have to have to see if these crackles have gone away in 4.1 before I buy the Multiband.

I wanted to test it today. Damn.

I have it on a VERY anemic orchestral recording right now and it doesn't suck as much as most MBC's out there... Thank Gawd for the \"mix\" control...

It says mine is expired too. The last 3 plug demos have all immediately been expired as soon as I loaded the driver. Maybe it has to do with my dual boot system, I don’t know. Kind of a drag since UA is apparently closed until January 2.

I already had 3.8 stored on my computer. That is why I was able to roll back to it. I don't seem to be having any problems with 4.1 so maybe it was just a one-off that 4.0 didn't work for me. Sorry I cannot hlep further.

Been reading a bit about your motherboard choice etc for your X2 CPU...also your using the MOTO stuff etc. Unfortunately, I believe these pops and clicks are direct result of using the UAD with that hardware combo and rolling back to another version of the software probably won't make much of a difference. This issue has been discussed in great detail on many forums.

If you can - grab yourself an ASUS A8V Deluxe...no problems here with 4.1....

Honestly, it looks great. But it seems like I already have what I need in MB Comps and can't justify spending $250 on another one. Sorry UA. I'm sure it's great but I don't have the cash with having to be Santa Claus and all. I got my kid an X-Box 360 though; I just can't swing any presents for me this year over $100. Oh well...

well there lies the problem.. the motu 828 mkii doesnt work with the via chipset and my uads dont work with my nforce 3 chipset. so either way im screwed. and plus its impossible to even find an a8v deluxe in stock.

furthermore, i think its strange that prior versions of the driver work better than the newer ones. AND i dont want to throw money at the problem

Furthermore, it seems you didn't notice (or didn't receive, in which case you just have to contact UA to solve this easily when they're back from their winter holiday) the $147 coupon from UA as a Precision Limiter and EQ owner, so that you can buy the Multiband for $102 (instead of $249).

Come to your senses or I'll have to start deleting your posts.
