Hi does anyone here have possibility to test if a UAD-1 card works in the now available Digidesign PCI six slot expansion chassis.
there must be some peepsz working in larger post facilities / at audio dealers that might have the chance to run some serious test cycles with a UAD-1 card. currently this Chassis would be a available way to get a possible futureproof path for an expanded UAD system starting today in a PCI-X G5 and moving over to a Quad G5 PCIe / Intel PCIe later on. obviously a audiointerface like a RME hammerfall DSP / lynx would be cool to be tested if they work generally in that chassis as well but UAD-1 are most important IMO.
according to digi tech bulletin the chassis seems to introduce some transfer latency overhead so a critical testing is required...
