Do I need a DI Box and a switcher?

Running my rig with a dual amp setup with Woodrow and Lion through an Ox Box (not using both ON in the same time). Would I need a passive or active DI Box to make my rig sound better? Help me out folks.

No, you should fine going into line inputs out of the ox stomp. Are you not getting good results that way?

The reason I asked is because this is my first time going ampless, so I'm pretty blind here. I don't even know if I would need an AB switcher as well. Basically each amp would be routed differently.
