Do You Use API Vision Channel Strip???

The API Vision Channel Strip is only $49 and I'm wondering how many people use it, what for, and what do you think of it?

I usually put API Vision channel strip extension on all individual instrument tracks (real and VI's), but usually don't change any settings. I think it sounds better just being in the signal path.

It is the plugin I use the most with my Spark subsciption.

I’ve owned it years and always wanted to love it, but it’s never really found a way into my sessions. I was surprised when I enjoyed the 500 series plugins and the 2500. This thread has reminded me to try again to get more into it

Typically use it for electric guitars, eq and sometimes the compressor lightly on clean/cleanish e-guitars

I do the same load default and dont touch anything. Pultec and Oxide tape . ( Corey Wong, did a video saying the same)

You need to at least turn each section on the channel on. I did that and set as the default.

Pretty much on every track. It's a beast.

I like it allot. IF I have something to mix, I have the "pro" version of Luna so it's built in. Handy for not having more GUI's open. But I can use the AU in Logic too.

API Vision is my second UAD device I remember very clearly. I don't use it a lot but it's capable of handling everything in equalization & dynamic control in one single device. It's great for sure.

In LUNA it's the sound of my studio. Individual tracks sound better, but applied throughout an entire mix, the additive effect is night and day.
