Does Hemisphere work with the Bock 187?

Tossing up between a Bock 187 or a L 22 hemisphere, or possibly even a Newman TLM 107… what i’d like to know is whether or not Bock 187 will work with the hemisphere software? anyone got any ideas?

i guess the bock, with the analog ciruitboard and carnhill transformer, is not meant to be working with mic modeling. i would rather see it as a model in a hemisphere plugin, as it is built after a vintage U87.

Ah… I think I get it… thank LoLo. So what I’ll do is buy the Sphere LX and the Bock 187…
I already have a SM7b so that should cover me for versatility

Hemisphere is designed to work with the Standard Series mics.

I’m not sure I understand the the difference between a Standard Series and the Bock but I will try a dig to find out. Thanks for the advice

Standard Series/Hemisphere mics are awesome mics in and of themselves, but they're also specifically designed to work with the Hemisphere plugin.

The UA Bock mics are "old school" mics NOT designed to work with Hemisphere.
