DP4.6 disappearing plugs

Hi,
Just upgraded to DP4.6 and UAD-1 v.3.9. Figured out the mono to stereo issue and can work with it, but the problem I'm having is when I open a plug, it opens, but if I close it to remove it from the desktop, I can't seem to get it back. It won't mount. Have to choose none and re-open the plug from scratch. And even once it's loaded, if it gets pushed back behind DP'd GUI, you can't get it back from the insert window. You must dig through whatever's in front of it, and find it. Any suggestions are welcome.

I've just tried this and it works perfectly here on (almost) the same setup - DP4.6, UAD-1 3.9, OS X 10.3.9, G4 dual 800. It's gotta be something up with your setup. I presume you did the old \"Repair Permissions\" jig? If so, you know what comes next - the even more antediluvian \"Toss Preferences\" reel :)

If you only have this problem with UAD-1 plugs, then I'd probably trash 'em and reinstall 3.9. If it's also happening with MAS or AU plugs, you know for sure it's your DP4.6 installation.

I can't for the life of me think of anything that would cause this short of a corrupt install. Anyway, I hope you get it sorted out.

It happens with every plug, audio units,vst. I have tried reinstalling 4.6,repair permissions, trash preferences, but still the same prob. I do have a G5, but this is too weird. I thought it may be from bringing in all these 4.5.2 projects that I had been working on. So I created a new project but same results. Wonder if I should go for Tiger?????
I emailed MOTU, but may try to call them in the morn. I will post once I work this out. thanks
