Dreamreverb vs Realverb question

Hello,
with the sales going on, I'm considering buying (among other things) the Dreamverb.
I confess that long ago, I had launched the demo, at a time when the price was higher.
And now, I don't remember quite well, just that I liked it but not to the point of investing that kind of money....
***.
My question is, are the algorythms way better than the ones included in Realverb ?
***
I'm not a tweaker, and would mostly use the presets.
So all the bells and whistles for reverb gurus who like to program and tune a lot would not the reason for me !
***
I just want just very good presets in the usual areas, nothing esoteric.
So, is it worth adding it to my UAD plugs bundle or can I stick to the realverb and find other ways to spend my cash ?
:?:
Thanks in advance for your comments !

Yes Dreamverb is worth adding imo. It is a very nice sounding reverb that has unique character- rich with beautiful coloration and quite smooth sounding. Dreamverb is'nt my overall favorite reverb (i prefer some of the Native ones) but it is my favorite Uad reverb and it is very nice in my ears. At 50% discount it is a steal.

thanks wishingwell for your opinion.
About your suggestion regarding a new demo period : that's indeed what I did, like 2 weeks ago, and I still have got no reply !

Dreamverb is more ideal where you are looking for a particular \"colour\" to the reverb as it has a 5-band EQ, which allows you control the resonance's shape.

However I would say Realverb is better for good results without all the paraphanelia that comes with Dreamverb.

Dreamverb is one of the plug Ins I love most of the whole UAD stuff.

As long as DSP power is not a factor, I prefer it to Realverb. It´s easier for me to get especially long smoothy and good sounding reverbs from it.
Some dynamics can be done pretty nice today with native plugins, but reverbs are either very expensive, sounding average or are very CPU hungry. Maybe if you have a very fast computer and only need a few reverbs you can think about convolution reverb, which can deliver results even more beautiful than Dreamverb, but uses up lots of power.

Maybe with Realverb you can get comparable results like Dreamverb, but I get better results faster with the 2nd one.
Although Realverb isn´t bad, for this actual holiday pricing IMO Dreamverb is a Must Have.

I just recently got Dreamverb and am happy to finally have it. It's a great addition to the Plate140, Realverb Pro and Sonar's Sonitus Reverb that I already had.
Many times I like to use the RS-1 or Realverb Pro to create a slight reflection on individual tracks and then use a reverb or two with channel sends to place the tracks in a room. Dreamverb has given a few more options toward that end and it works out great!
