Dream's vs OX Stomp's user interface

Because I was so impressed by Lion, I ordered a Dream 65 as well to have both of the only amps I need.

I managed to pair the Dream to my phone for the first time today and went through the app user interface and it was very different to the OX Stomp's

All the OX Stomp's control and a few more are available in the app. But I couldn't find any controls in the Dream's user interface. Just presets and setup for the foot switches and the 4 cable setting.

What can we expect in the future from the app? Perhaps parameter control for Dream?

No big deal at all. I was just surprised by the differences between the two.

You didn't notice the difference between the Lion and Ox ?

Yep I‘m in the same boat, -first experience with the ox stomp, then got the dream and was surprised by the exact same thing, not much controls available on the app.
I guess it’s meant to be tweaked from the ground :D
I’ll probably use it as a preset/live + boost on/off configuration
That’s an acceptable alternative to the lack of preset knob
I’m still in the test period but I think I’ll keep it, compared to Helix modeled amps, it’s much cleaner, more headroom
And I like the idea of turning knobs live if needed
Great combo with the ox stomp too

This is why I stay away from the OX Stomp. It‘s barely usable without the app.

I have Starlight, Astra, Dream, Ruby and Lion pedals and I hardly ever use the app. All parameters are accessible without the app, the 6 knobs and 3 switches are all you need.

Having a Mac version of the UAFX app might change my mind.

Surprisingly the speaker drive is only accessible via the pedal and not the app in OX stomp (although it’s part of the ox box app). It‘s those arbitrary decisions, which I don‘t understand with UAFX.

It‘s those arbitrary decisions,
You're funny :giggle: we know them as design errors or just "errors of development"

With UAFX there are many decisions that feel like design errors but they were made on purpose. E.g. removal of preset mode for Del-Verb, Galaxy 74 & MAX. So I‘m never sure if it is a bug or deliberate „limitations“ 😵
