Hello everyone,
I am a new user with LUNA
I wanted to know how I can manage a dedicated guitar delay via the LUNA DAW.
If it needs a dedicated UAD plugin for this function.

To make myself clearer...
With Logic there are solutions like this:

Thanks for the suggestions.

There are lots of ways to do this - but you'll have to get creative and find your favorite way.

If you simply want to copy the same exact process that your video shows (except in Luna instead of Logic), probably you're EASIEST route is to get the Devious Machines "Ducker" plugin and use the side chain process exactly the same way you would in Logic. One benefit of this would be that the "Ducker" plugin has tons more control than anything in Logic, so that's a bonus.

Here's a link to them:

Thank you for your advice.

But this plugin is not native UAD
Because then, I lose the ARM function (which only works with native plugins)
That's why I wanted to know if UAD offers something specific in its price list?

Is it possible that UAD's beautiful reverbs and delays do not integrate the duking function?

And a very important function for a professional DAW type LUNA

AFIK, there is no UAd ‘ducking delay’.

There is no reason to use ARM for this function. (It is simply a mixing technique, and ARM is a recording function.)

And yes, all of the UAD reverbs and delays can be used to "duck", but you must understand how to side-chain to the plugin etc.

I feel like you may be confused about what ARM is .... so definitely read that part of the manual.

All you need is a) any Delay or reverb plugin (there are plenty in the UAD realm and b) any Compressor plugin that can be controlled through a sidechain. UA’s API 2500 can be sidechained in LUNA, but there should be some more.
Use the compressor to duck your delay/reverb when it is triggered by the sidechain signal.

Thank you for the tip
NOTE
i am a guitarist and not a sound engineer,
the ducking delay/reverb technique, I used it with the Intellifex-TC2290 type effects racks.

So I've never had the problem of reproducing it with a DAW.

I'm trying step by step to recreate the routing on LUNA:
I have the API 2500 compressor
I have the Precision Delay Mod L
ma non funziona...

NOTE
I tried to recreate the routing with Logic, following the video I posted step by step.
And I was successful.

Now I would like to do it again with LUNA

Bear with me, thanks ;)
