Dumb question - how do I buy a second card?

Ok, I've got one card with the 1176, DreamVerb, Cambridge and Fairchild. I'm thinking about the Dimension D, the Multiband and the Limiter.

Anyway, can I buy the cheapest version of the UAD for $399 US, and suddenly have twice the power, or do I have to buy all my plugins again? And if I get the flexi pack, and spend it on the aforementioned plugs, will those work on my original card also.

Sorry for the basic question, but in searching the UA site I don't seem to be able to find a clear answer.

Any plug-in license you buy will work with up to 4 cards, so you can get either a Projekt Pak and get the extra power or a Flexi Pak and get some extra plugs as well.

Yes, if you shop around you can probably get it cheaper. As they say, timing is everything and it pays to shop around. When I bought my second card (for more DSP), back in 2004, I got in on a good deal, at the time. A new Project Pak, for $329 delivered (no sales tax, free shipping), plus I got a free Pultec Pro, from UA.

No, any plugins you already have can be used, with up to (4) cards, in one computer. You will get a new authorization file to download once you register your new card and update your online UA personal account.
