Hey,

Yesterday I got the announcments about the
new plug-ins and about 15 minutes after
that, I got an e-mail thanking me for
registering with UA. which is pretty weird
since I registered 2 years ago.

I logged in to my account at UA, and was
asked to fill in missing details (phone#,
and new passwd) and then I was shocked
to find out my account was completely
wiped out! All my registered (3) UAD-1s
gone along with all the authorizations (every UAD plug-in there is)...

What do you think? I mailed UA and they
didn't get back to me yet...
I'm pretty worried about this.

Has anyone encountered something like that?

I wouldn´t be worried at all, this is UA, they always handle these kind of problems (never heard this one) with flair!

Don't worry. You have real hardwares(uad-1 cards).
So, it must be OK soon. I think. :)

I would also be alarmed by this. I keep all of my registration files backed up just in case, and I guess all UA would need to do is look at your latest reg. file to see what plugins you have authorized, but hopefully it's some kind of glitch and they can restore your profile without having to go through all that. Let us know what happens in case this happens to anyone else in the future. Good luck!

Maybe they are a little bit busy with their movement to the new building.

It would be very unlike their usual response, if they don´t reply to you.

Usually the customer support is very very good.

Wait a little bit more or use another email adress - perhaps your actual is filtered by a firewall ?


Do you have a backup of your latest registration file ?
Then it should be no problem at all for them to reconstruct it.

you can always call them if you don't want to wait (Is what I did once when i had a problem with a coupon) They are SO going to sort you out, I wouldn't worry about it. :D

I'm used to such a fine and quick response from UA
I'm quite surprised it's been a day and still nothing

and then again, it's been a (single) day...

I just don't want to lose my coupons and now I can't
check out the new plug-ins yet so...

If I won't get any response tomorrow I'll call them.
