after changing my mac OS from 9.22 to OSx I have a problem
with the Fairchild 760 when inserting a Pultec pro afterwards.
As soon as I use the Pultecs on/off switch the signal distorts.
This remains even if I bypass or remove the Pultec Pi.
All other plug in combinations/chains work fine.
It happens on Audio tracks in Songs with host load approx. at 30-40%.(1 or 2 Audiotracks-24bit- and a few Audioinstruments)
It does not appear when using the built in audio drivers.
Changing the process buffer in logic has no effect.
As UA James already wasn't successful trying to reproduce this effect I am now looking
for someone with exactly the same setup:
G4 DP876, Logic 7, RME Hammerfall9652(not HDSP)-latest drivers, 1024 latency, OSX 10.3.5
(externally clocked at 44.1 from big ben.)
I'd really appreciate if you could check if this happens with your system, too.
Thanks,
Sebastian
