file ending ".aupreset"

hi,

is a preset file (i downloaded it from UA website) ending with .aupreset (full name is "Lead Vocal Soul Studer.aupreset") still loadable?
could it be that this format is about 10 years old?

if yes, where do i have to put it, so that it is listed in the presets of an UAD plugin?

Sounds like you should be able to load it in an AU DAW and copy it over into any other format.
