I tried this and only found stuff available to download. :|
how the hell does this work?
That's the point... a normal account on my transfers system allows uploading, downloading, deletion, moving, folder creation, updating of the account... but the "anyuser" account is meant to only offer a place for people to download files.
BTW, I had preferred/intended to explain this when contacted by email privately, but I suppose that I don't see the harm...
So anyway, the process would go-
Sign up for your own transfers account -

In the notes indicate that you would like to have a public folder.
I will create a public subfolder in your account and create a user with your name and "public" at the end of it (for example - myname_public) that will only allow users to download from that specific folder and it's subfolders.
When you post any music, just tell people the username and password (password will always be "public") and they can download 1 or multiple files very easily and uploading for you would have been extremely simple.
This is just making use of a system that is already in place, so it is not perfect for this application, and since it is meant to be protected for my clients' privacy, there is no external linking (or at least there isn't supposed to be). But all in all, it's a very effective way to share and manage files for free.
Just make sure the public files benefit the audio community in some way, even if it is to ask for people to criticize your own productions.
Lastly, any private files must be intended for transfer from you to my business... free unlimited storage is not the point of this...
Hope that made sense.
