First Apollo X8 heard of with a DEAD OUTPUT, none. Now what?

As I have suspected all along, I possibly have the first, that I’ve ever heard of, completely dead output Apollo X8. I have spent the last eight months back-and-forth to my associated computer lab for testing and retesting thinking it was software related, talking over support messages with UA to no avail, their suggestions and possible applications have resulted in nothing and I’m still dead in the water.

Yesterday I finally got the result I suspected. At the lab once again, connecting my Apollo X8 to a Mac laptop this time, after testing the active TB cable (found to be working perfectly) first, then testing for the Apollo output with NO connection to the Mac laptop whatsoever. Wow, as if I didn’t know already, what do I do now? Does UA have a warranty policy? I haven’t seen one! Hmmm….. Am I headed for yet another nightmare disaster?!!! I hope not this is gotten ugly.

I'm not sure I follow some of the second paragraph. Yes, UA products have a warranty. Where did you get the unit?
