free UAD1 PCIx card contest

Hi everyone-

i recently purchased a 2.5 quad mac G5 and my UAD1 PCIx card won't work on it, so I am offering a UAD1 card w/plugs free to the most creative email (including attachment?) i recieve between now and New years Day.

Snakes- i can appreciate the language difference, but if you got that far with it, then you must try and be a bit more creative. Simply saying you deserve the card is not enough...i would like to know why....?

And Santa- just as I suspected, you have 4 cards already, most likely pilfered from small sleeping children as you ransacked their tiny workstations, filling you red velvet sack with UAD cards and various soft synths....but I do like your honesty, so consider yourself considered

Hi Everyone-

All i can say is I wish I had 10 UAD cards to give away, as many of you made my holidays even better with your creative and funny entries. But only 1 card is possible, and the winner is.......Mike Manthe.
Mike sent me a hilarious song with great lyrics personally beseeching me for the card. I would love to put it up on the forum, but dont know how. If anyone wants to hear the song, i can email it to them

The effervescent Natalie from Amsterdam came in a close 2nd with a cool song from her band Stikka with some great lyrics. She gets a cool Nu Reason refill (if she uses Reason) or some classy Sample CD's.

Special kudios to SeaMonster, German, Swiunxx and Rik Besgrove for their smile inducing entries.

And thanks to the folks running the UAD site for letting the contest proceed with nothing but encouragement, and a special thanks to UAD for making such a warmly coveted piece of magic, as Mike Manthe is about to find out, first hand

With all of the excitement, I forgot to publicly thank Mark for this incredible, INCREDIBLE contest/give-away. I am SO honored and ecstatic to have won. I can barely contain my excitement or my anticipation!!

I am proud to (soon) join the ranks of the rest of you UAD owners. I'm sure I will have many questions and comments in the weeks and months to follow.

At any rate, I am honored and humbled to have my entry chosen. It was a truly unique thing that Mark did. If the world was full of people like Mark, imagine how much better it would be?
