FX Freeze with UAD-1?

I just discovered this product:

Supposedly you can use this tool with any DAW to freeze effects setting onto tracks, thus freeing up CPU. As I use PC Logic (an old dinosaur), this would be helpful to me.

Here's my question: anyone using this program with UAD-1? Does it work? Any issues I should know about?

I'm going to download the demo, but I'd appreciate any opinions you folks may have.

I was asking the same question to myself yesterday..As far as i can understand the soft, it will free up cpu load only.. And UAD-1 plugins do not use CPU ressources but the card.
