G5/UAD/Logic/RME: Crashes when Offline Bounce starts

Hi all,
I have an special Problem with my new G5 Dual 2.0, RME Multiface and the UAD. When I start an Offline Bounce with any UAD Plug activated, the screen darkens and there's an request to restart the Computer. It looks very dangerous. Without any UAD Plug it works fine, an Realtime Bounce with UAD is no problem. I tried both free PCI Slots (slot 3 and 4).
Any suggestions or ideas? Thank you!

If you've done any new installs always repair permissions....

This seems to help the kernel panic problems.

Its in the Logic manual somewhere: No support for offline bounce with dsp cards - poco, scope, uad, protools....

Out of interest, is your G5 one of the "brand new" all dual processor line?

Cheers

Thanks for the replies...
I will try to repair the permissions, I let you know if it works...
What means \"DAW\" (sorry, I'm german...;))?
Yes, the G5 is brandnew (the \"June 2004 Model\")
@Chris: With my G4 I had no problems with any bounce...
Greetings!
