I found back to the production of my own music
8)
This track was done from a-z by myself. When working alone it's really easy to loose focus..

How do you like it?
Sometimes it's too much bass in the mix for me, and sometimes I like how the bass is mixed. But it's rather on the bass heavy side
:)

Electric guitar is done with Tonex/Amplitube.
Acoustic is tracked by a U87 via Neve pre.

Thanks for your feedback!

I like it, i agree it has a lot of low end (but not necessarily in a bad way). I listened on headphones, maybe the guitars could have a little more width in the parts. Good job overall!

Thanks Chris for your response! The guitars are doubled and as far as I remember hard panned or almost hard panned.. Is there a way to make them even wider? I now own a SSL Fusion, maybe with it's space and width know I can make things with more width to it :)

Very nice ambient sound; I really like the composition and overall tone of the instruments.

The bass freq range has most of the energy around 60 Hz and below. If you are mixing for a subwoofer I guess that's good but my speakers think that range is too low. I don't really feel anywhere near "too much bass". I would remove some of the energy around 60 Hz which is about 12 to 15 dB greater than the rest of the instruments. I feel like the guitars could have a little less width, slightly more centered. The thing I hear mostly in the center is the snare.

Nice job!
