Hardware transfer. How long does it take right now?

So, I've put my Apollo Twin X for sale on eBay 10 days ago and asked for the unregistering in my account a couple of days after. I wonder how long it takes to complete the transfer in usual time of year? This is not normal times, Christmas vacations and I guess the support staff had some days off to enjoy the holidays with their families. Anybody made a hardware request around the same time and got a reply yet? Thanks.

Just so you know: My older Apollo Twin is on sale and I did the same thing - requested a transfer out of account. It was still listed in my "System 1" 10 days later.
I've contacted support and they manually moved this Apollo to empty "System 2". Appearently your device will be in your account utill it's sold and registered by a new user.

Thanks for the reply. Good to know. It would need better explaining because that's not how I read it. And it can be a bit complicated if for any reason I have to take the Apollo back( I gave a 14-day return window on the listing). If I have to refund the buyer for any reason how can I get a confirmation from him/her that they unregistered the unit before I refund the sale? If the buyer send me a screenshot of his/her account and I see " A hardware transfer is pending" how can I know if all went well and the Apollo is back to being available?

this is how it works:

Unless you wish to transfer ownership of your entire plug-in library out of your account with the device, a transfer is not necessary. Any Apollo or Satellite hardware can be registered, and it will move out of your account automatically when it is registered to a different account.

so as long as you receive the device back, you should be fine. And if plug-ins are part of the sale and when clawing it back to your account they are not there, don’t refund (until they do - let buyer sort it out)

… if you still don’t feel confident about this, simple: DON’T accept returns.

Ok, so in theory the buyer won't have any problems registering it. Just sold it so we'll see. As a buyer, I always like to buy stuff I can return if something doesn't work as expected so I leave the same choice to the buyer when I sell something.
