help luna x6 black lion exp adat

I have proven clueless: if set up the exp with say, ADAT 7/8 input AND output. If I send from a track (say, bass) post I have the audio-bus input ADAT 7/8 and output ADAT 7/8. all looks great but there is no output/no sound of the external attached to the ADAT 7/8 (elysia Neo 500). am I wrong to have the output on the luna track (ADAT 7/8) or some other output or...impossible awaiting a LOGIC-like I/o insert. thank you in advance

what are you trying to do exactly?
Luna doesnt currently any hardware insert capability if that what you are asking.
If you need to print your hardware into luna, set the output of that track to any physical or ADAT output available. Send that signal to whatever piece of gear you are using. Create a track in Luna, set the input to whatever analog or ADAT input you are using (from the out of your outboard gear). Leave the track in Input if you just want to monitor it, hit the record button if you want to print your processing back into Luna

You'll need to return to a different pair and use a Cue for the send, if I understand your goal correctly.
