How do I mic an amp and go direct

I'd like to have a permanent setup next to my mix desk that I can use to mic my amp and go direct with the raw guitar signal, both into the two channels of my Apollo Twin Quad. I suppose I would need either a fancy splitter or a simple DI with two outputs. Radial has a bunch of stuff like this but I can't figure out which one to buy. Seems like it would be a simple thing and not necessarily even an active one, unless an active circuit would provide the best audio quality and the least noise.

Yes, I know this can be done using UA Console but I don't want a software solution, thank you. I want a hardware box that's always on and ready to go.

Any recommendations from the Radial line? The Pro48 looks like it would do the trick. I would have use an XLR input instead of the hi-Z on the Apollo and use input 2 for the amp mic, but that shouldn't pose a problem, right?

For budget, get the active. Passive is good if you splurge on the JDI. Or consider the Warm Audio passive, it has a Cinemag and is on sale for $99 this month.

+1 on the JDI. I also use a RNDI …

One of these Little Lab boxes and you can go direct and re-amp all at the same time. It's a high quality sound too.

A DI would work as already suggested.

Another option is the Palmer PGA 03, basically a Y box. I have one and it works great, can also be used if you ever want to split your signal in 2 amps

I've owned a couple JDIs, a J48, and a Pro DI. All were good quality. I replaced the J48 with the Countryman Type 85. Still have a JDI.

I definitely like mine. It also has a reamp boost, which I've found to be very helpful.
Mr Little is a friend of mine, he’s an awesome dude. We used to work together at A&M Studios in the 90’s. He fixed my Boss DD2 for me way back then, he’s such a sweet soul & a very brilliant designer. I can’t recommend his devices enough.
Years ago we had a listening session one day through his headphone amp, the Monotor. I heard new things on records I’ve listened to thousands of times. Awesome stuff!
