How many UAD-1's in the Asus A8V Deluxe?

I currently have only 1 Uad-1 card in my A8V deluxe.

If I do upgrade to the MOTU 424 and 4 2408's, I'll have leftover slots available for more UAD's.

How many UAD-1's have people succesfully run in the A8V Deluxe?

I am thinking about getting 2 more.

Hi Lex,
3 cards plus 1 HDSP Digiface, SX latest, XP SP2 latest.
100 % stability except for the typical VIA quirks, nothing UAD or SX related.
I'd go for the extra cards, and be sure to check out the promos !

Been out of the UAD thing for a while. Still on V4.0

Promo's? What promos? Was thinking 1 project and 1 flexi.

What VIA issues?

I recently added a second (practically required for any sophisticated mix).
I do notice a few crackles now, when there are major screen redraws (resizing SX3 etc) but nothing that affects the exports, so i haven't gone crazy playing the slot swap/permutation game.

I think I'll make do with two for a while, hoping there will be a new more powerful version next year.

no crackles here with three cards. Period.
If you post detailed info about your HW, SW and configuration, best in a separate thread, you're likely to get some helpful advice.
Some very friendly and knowledgeable people here.

I'm running 2 UAD's and a 424 card without any issues. The Powercore :evil: , now that's a different story.

Yeah. Sounds like a system issue. Graphics card issue.

I have the Matrox G750. Any issues? I've heard none from others.
I am going to get a project and flexi pak.

Though I do at times do produce, it will largely be used for film score mixing.

Have the Plate 140 and Ultra pak plugs.
What others would be good for the flexi buy? (more for composing and score mix)
Want the Space echo. (unless its is over blow)
Considering Neve compressor.

Any suggestions? Apparently, I get another 100 per registered UAD by the end of the year. SO I'd have 700 bucks.

What should I get?
