How to determine which Apollo Twin Duo is mine?

After I brought my Apollo Twin Duo from my Home Studio to my Guitar Players Studio, I took his Apollo Twin Duo from his Studio home with me Wednesday night to do some updates on it.

Since they look 100% the same cosmetically, how do I tell which one is mine? :)

Thanks,
Jerry

Hi LesBrown!

I just did that, and here's the part that's messing with my mind :)

My Apollo was thoroughly cleaned Tuesday to look "new" again.

When I hooked up today what I assumed was his Apollo (it's very dirty looking), everything seemed fine, and my Console's Tweed Deluxe Session Preset (where the Tweed Deluxe is in the Unison slot) worked perfectly.

I then hooked up the new/clean looking one about two hours ago, and that same Console Tweed Deluxe Session Preset shows that the Tweed is disabled in the Unison slot, but it will allow a 14 day Demo.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry

PS
Is there a way Serial Number wise to see in my UAD Account which one is mine?

I already looked and couldn't find it for my units.

Plugin activations are on the device. If your plugins are on one device but not the other, that tells you which is which. Maybe try loading some other plugins that you know you have but your friend doesn't have.

of course there is, check your account and check the system report generated by the UA Meter app.

to check under your account, start the ‘transfer device’ process (you don’t have to go ahead with it), the serial number will be listed there.

UPDATE:

I'm not sure if this is significant, but here's what I found out.

1) When I used my computer with my Apollo today, everything worked perfectly.
2) When I hooked up his Apollo today, I did so with my computer, and everything worked perfectly.
3) After I did that, I hooked up my Apollo again, and then the plugins were disabled.
4) I again hooked up his Apollo with my computer, and everything worked fine (nothing was disabled).
5) I just hooked up HIS computer with HIS Apollo, and when I try using plugins that I know I own, they all say disabled, but will allow the 14 day trial period.

Since I Purchased every Plugin on MY Apollo (all showing proof of Purchase, btw, in my UAD Account), should I use MY computer and MY Apollo, and then simply activate them by starting the Demo on all of the ones showing Disabled?

You should use the authorize function not the demo function.

THIS! Very useful things to know.

In the UA Meter & Control Panel, click the UAD-2 button to open Control Panel -> System Info -> Save Detailed System Profile. That file includes the serial number, all plugins authorized to the device, and more.

As noted by XL_Erate, plugins are authorized by clicking the "Authorize Plug-Ins..." button in UA Meter & Control Panel -> Plug-Ins.
