How to get a mono instance of Powered Plug-ins

New Member

I'm a new user and wonder how to get the mono instances of the plug-ins, as they are described is the instances chart. While installing the 4.2 software there was a question if I also want to install the mono versions of plug-ins, but that those mono versions don't use less cpu.

So, how do I get those mono versions that eat less cpu?

Many thanks in advance

Hi Ray

the \"stereo\" plugins detect if mono signal is present or not. The \"special\" installed mono-version are for \"complex\" mono-routings.

Just check the DSP loads and compare with the chart on the UA website.

Thanks Chris,

the stereo plug-ins detect that from the incoming signal or from the VST routing?

Okay, I'll check meters and see.
