Is there a way to make the background items (like UA Mixer Engine and any others) run only for a single user on a shared Mac? Currently these items load for all users but I think its making things unstable in my case.
My wife and I share our laptop, but it seems that the UA hardware and software don't work properly when more than one user is logged in - I log my wife's user account out when I need to use my UAD hardware. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding my issues, but has anyone else encountered this?
I also don't fully understand how login and background items have changed on MacOS in recent years - is there a way to move these items out of the /Library/LaunchAgents folder into my user's LaunchAgents folder? I am comfortable using Terminal etc, I just don't know what needs to be done or how many files need to move and from where.
THANKS FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE!
