I did nothing wrong, the UA Connect is installed and connected to my account, I can see the plugins list. the iLok is also installed and the Cloud License is activated.
I simply work and suddenly the plugins lose their activation, such as "RESTART DAW" or "DEMO" / "BUY NOW". It makes my mix different and I start touching things until I open any UAD plugin and see that error and understand I messed up the mix because of a few plugins that stopped working.
Sometimes even restarting the DAW won't help I have to restart my mac couple of times, it's frustrating so why do I need to pay $200 for that? I totally feel it's a scam, that I'm a sucker who paid $500 for something that gives me anger and frustration and now UAD is asking for more money trying to squeeze us.
So the minimum I expect from such a big company is to update these bundles like the Spark.

Luckily I didn't buy Apollo but RME!
This frustration is familiar.
Installing UAD Spark resulted in a complete overhaul of my Logic system.
It forced me out of Rosetta mode which meant I even lost Melodyne ARA, and I needed to reappraise all my old plugs like Waves, Izotope etc. Anyway, if you persist with all the hassle and then settle into doing some sustained trouble-free work, it is clear that these plugs are the next level and your work will reflect this.
As for the cost, I pay per month and have access to all of these new goodies you mentioned, so maybe change your plan after this year?

I just wanted to acknowledge and express my sincere respect to you of having a healthy discussion within the nature of exercising your rights. This an admirable quality to have as a human being. Thanks again, I wish you the best in any future projects.

Yeppers, none of them are different. I'll keep saying it, overall, I think UAD is easily one of the best. My experience here and with the company has been overwhelming positive. Not to mention they are about the best in the biz product wise. Sometimes I can't get over just how good they are. But I digress.....feeling scammed......

In the realm of there are ZERO consumer protections in the USA, yes we are being scammed. Is UA just operating in what is a robust, somewhat predatory atmosphere which has become the norm, sure. The consumer is generally the sucker in the USA. UA really isn't any better or worse than most other companies and in the grand scheme, don't really warrant a public flogging as the worst of the worst in terms of business practices. They can do a lot better sometimes and it does seem they will protect a short term bottom line over their reputation as a fair company. A LOT of companies will too, though. This probably wont change, as our congress is bought and sold every hour of every day. Corporations have the power and money and we don't. Sucks being a guppy in a big pond, eh?

Exactly. I’m not singling out UA. I have been very open with my love for their products. But modern capitalist enshittification is the norm now for all corporations and UA plays the game just like the rest — and make no mistake, it is all a game.

One other thing, with very few exceptions, this UAD thing has been a very positive experience. Just the forum alone, where else would anyone be able to gripe as much as we do here? Not to mention the products are fabulous. I don't know, I'm cranky today but I personally grow weary of the "UAD is evil" thing. Nothing personal to anyone, but I just don't get it.

Well, I'll say this. There are better business practices out-there, I though of UAD as valuing the customer experience and it revealed to be something else at least in my experience along some other people across forums. I resorted to debunking the UAD experience use of argument seeking objectivity, math is objective and that speaks for itself.

I am also tired of people who resort for a band aid when criticism comes this way. (No offense to anyone here) Sarcasm, subjective experience, poor knowledge regarding history, unable to follow a thread when discussing. Pure emotional responses won't cut it in a macro perspective.

Regarding CORPS - Expecting for things to change is like betting on the lottery and expecting something in return, I believe in doing something active that eventually leads somewhere and discussing things is the way, civilized conversations with Ground rules, Morals, Respect.
