Hello,
First of all thanks a lot for reading and potentially replying my post, I hope you all having a nice holiday break!
I’m wondering if there are advantages to somehow integrating the CONSOLE with the DAW when producing entirely ITB.
For instance i’m under the impression every time i add a UAD plugin to my DAW the sound does a “round trip” to the plugin, currently most plugins introduce about 11ms of latency to my session. I’m wondering if that’s how it works and if for instance i could instead use a virtual channel on the CONSOLE stack 3-4 plugins and then use that as an “insert” on my master, therefore doing only 1 DSP roundtrip?
Is that a possibility?
Considering there is a “Console recall/sync” plugin for the DAW i’m assuming there are advantages to using the CONSOLE in conjunction with my DAW as opposed to adding the plugins one by one on my DAW, is that a correct assumption? And if it is, in which ways i can benefit from using the console and saving it with my DAW?
I can picture having several plugins on the analogue inputs for tracking and getting that recalled for instance if i need to record an instrument, but is there other benefits / tips / tricks to be explored when only working entirely ITB?
Thank You
