Is anyone having this problem with the Roland Space Echo?

I'm using it in Acid Pro 6 and the \"wet solo\" switch is always turned off after loading a sequence.

It always freaks me out when I load a tune and sounds start jumping out at me.

This has to be a bug.

Try this:

Run REGEDIT and go to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Universal Audio\\Powered Plugins\\UAD Roland RE-201\\DefaultWetZero

Change the value to (REG-DWORD) 0

I hope this helps.

Well there is a similar fix for Plate 140, although if I recall rightly there is a solution on the Universal Audio website if you look under support. As \"shouldn't have to\", I'm afraid sometimes you do have too.

Can't you automate it to be set to where you need it? I've never used Acid Pro, so don't know if it has the facility to do this.

Cheers,
Peter

You can of course create a *.reg file with correct information and merge into the registry. However I couldn't quite remember the syntax, so I omitted it from my answer.

I don't know about Macs.

For what it counts, the wet light stills comes on for me in Acid too. If you are using the P140 as a send/return effect. Wet might be a better option anyway.

The reg files are in the link above your post....
sorry should have been more clear, but was a little impatient with the original poster.

That's the thing...the default setting or automation isn't really the problem because all the plug-in settings are saved within the song.

The issue is once I reload the sequence "wet solo" automatically turns off again.

I know it's minor, but annoying nonetheless.
