Is it possible to sell plugin licenses?

Precision Limiter, LA2A, Cambridge Eq, Fairchild, Plate Reverb, Dimension D and Roland Space Echo...

Bad side in reality is UA has no proof you wont use the old reg.file with the authorisations.......(ie still use them with your cards)

My understanding of it was, that \"you\" the licensee were purchasing the right to use the plug-ins with \"your registered\" hardware. Actually, it's like a Steinberg dongle and license, you need to buy a new key and license for you to use it on another machine. This is one way the software vendors are making harder for pirates and thiefs which I fully support as the prices are already costly as they are.

Perhaps my answer misconstrued or misinterprited anyway, what I really should have asked was, why do you want to sell just the plug-ins alone and not the hardware?

oh yes, I totally agree that there should be a good protection for every product..especially those in digital format..
But in a way I think that it is to bad that I'm stuck with those licenses this way..would be great if there could be a way for everybody to be happy..ah, the perfect world

anyway, I understand what you all saying and I think we all agree..yes it would be great but it's impossible..
