Is Mackie UAD-1 the same as newer UAD-1?

New member here and found this forum after I bought my first UAD-1. I noticed the older Mackie version comes with the LA-2A and the 1176LN. I was curious if there is any difference at all between the two card or if they are the same? I'm thinking of selling the UAD that I have and getting a MAckie version for the extra plugins but wouldn't want to do it if there was any loss in performance from the card. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have both in my system, and they perform exactly the same. Physically they look slightly different as I recall, but who cares

Just keep the one you have, buy the Mackie, and run twice as many LA2A's, 1176LN's etc

Mackie has a smaller heat sink and that's the only difference.
