Doing both has MUCH higher dev costs, so Product does things for each sometimes.
I wish I had known that this meant that you would not give a rats ass about developing plugins for the Apollo anymore.“Two years ago UniversalAudio” said:We are continuing to develop the UAD and Apollo DSP platform with software updates and new products. Stay tuned for exciting product updates in the future and rest assured that the Apollo and UAD ecosystem is stronger than ever.
If you don’t think it’s worth investing in the platform then why should your costumers?
How many plugins have you released for UAD-2 since? I can’t think of any.
“We will not release mixing plugins for the Apollo” was the message we got when you started releasing only native plugins.
Then came the amps. Plugins which the Apollo is literally made to run.
Uh, no, it’s too costly to develop for both.
I get it, things change. But I think it’s a bit deceptive to lure people onto your “premium platform” that you don’t believe in yourselves anymore.
