Is v4.5 X64?

I believe we've all read in a recent Webzone that 4.5 was supposed to be X64 ready. However, I haven't seen a mention of it in the release notes. what's the deal?

X64 will come in Q4 according to the AES press release but not necessarily implied part of v4.5...am sure UA is still in testing for X64/Vista...

The beta people implied it would be a follow-on release as v4.5.1 before Xmas...

Sure, but what I'm saying is that whining ain't gonna help the situation. I don't disagree that they should have been released a very long time ago.

We know that, we are just expressing our disapointment from a customers perspective. When you make a product that requires hardware
it's just good business to have drivers ready in a timely manner (I'm speaking of XP64 not Vista) across platforms. I'm not trying to pick a fight here, I'm just given my opinion.

X64 just keeps getting pushed back. I wanted to switch to XP X64 a year ago, but have held onto the 32 bit variety thanks to UAD1. It seems like we'll have to wait for the commercial release for Vista. Or, will they release non-Vista X64 and we have to wait ANOTHER year for Vista X64?
