• Welcome to the General Discussion forum for UAD users!

Please note that this forum is user-run, although we're thrilled to have so much contribution from Drew, Will, and other UA folks!

Feel free to discuss both UAD and non-UAD related subjects!

    1) Please do not post technical issues here. Please use our UAD Support Forums instead.

    2) Please do not post complaints here. Use the Unrest Forum instead. They have no place in the the General Discussion forum.

Threads posted in the wrong forum will be moved, so if you don't see your thread here anymore, please look in the correct forum.

    Lastly, please be respectful.

It's 2024 - here's my airing of the grievances (there's only one) ;)

I reset the latency in LUNA and now Console opens up after I close LUNA.
It’s a reoccurring thing that is a bit strange and annoying.

And it's this.... dang blasted... horn-swagglin'... dadburn... rackin'-frackin'....

every time I try to open a plugin inside of Console, I do this dance....

I have had this same thing happen before. I’ll have to check I’ve recently updated softwares.

I sometimes have this problem, I also find the little power button to enable/disable the plugin right there to be very stubborn for as long as I can remember, through several macOS and UAD software versions.

I have the same problem. On an apple magic mouse it's absolutely unusable so I avoid using console for this reason. On my macbook pro trackpad it's a little better but still bad. That is something I think UAD absolutely needs to update, kind of ridiculous how long it's been like that without being fixed.

I can't quite tell what's happening. Is it when trying to access the options on the plugin that it moves?

It's actually when I try to open the plugin's GUI. It usually takes at least 4 or 5 tries to get the GUI to open. I usually have the best luck if I can click on the center of the icon, but it still generally takes quite a few tries.

I use an Apple Magic Mouse and haven't tried it with any other type, so maybe that has something to do with it?

I'm running an M1 chip in a MacMini - and not seeing this issue.

In my experience it's about the type of mouse used, like the magic mouse. Doesn't happen with my Trackball, but does with my MM

I think I know what it's about.
To open the plugin window you have to hold the pointer dead-still while clicking. Moving it just one pixel while clicking (which might happen easily with some mice), make it act as you wanna drag the plugin to another slot. Maybe it could be less pixel sensitive?
