Just purchased the EMT 140 => killing my monitors, NOISE!

Hi all,

may be someone can help me out...

Today I have bought the license to use the EMT140. The first attempt it works like it should be, sounded awesome (inserted it into an auxchannel)! :p

But sometime later and I don´t know why there was a huge noise coming up and I was thinking my monitors would be destroyed! Also the meter in the GUI was spinning around like crazy and in the DAWs channelsection were was a peak damn above 0dB!

The silly thing is that I can work with compressors like the La2a, 1176 and EQs like the Pultec without having noise. But until I use a reverb plugin like the EMT 140 or the Dreamverb there is coming an ear killing noise!

My setup is:

Windows XP SP2
Cakewalk Sonar 6
Lynx TWO-B audiocard
Latest UAD firmware
GEIL 1 GB RAN
Abit UL-8 mainboard (ULI-chipset)

I have restarted and reboot my system but the problem does still apear!

Thank you in advance.
