Komplete Kontrol Instruments Saved Settings

I'm using a few instances of Komplete Kontrol (Via a Kontrol s61 keyboard). I setup the instrument (pick whatever sound I'm looking for) and record midi. If I go back to the same instrument to make some changes LUNA does not bring the same instrument back on the track. For whatever reason it brings up another instrument I may have used on other tracks. So I've spent a significant amount of time tweaking the sound, but lose everything when I try to re-open the instrument. I just moved over from Cubase about a month ago which always remembers the instrument and the settings.

This may just be a settings issue? It's a huge deal for me. I had to revert back to a session from 2 days ago to bring the correct instrument sound back.

Any help would be much appreciated.

There might be a more 'correct' solution, but in the meantime: If you are use the Kontakt plugin instead. Insert Kontakt, select or load instrument.

OK, thanks. That will help me out going forward I guess. But I'm still out of luck after spending a bunch of time setting up and configuring the instrument. Sadly, I can't even remember what the instrument was (Massive, Hybrid Keys, Playbox??).
