L22 Townsend Problem

So I have calibrated. I have Inserted sphere on first insert. Get the perfect signal. Front obviously louder than rear. Record vocal. Perfect. Then you go to mix a day later and you get the “identical signal detected”

Recently my pans have a mind of their own and you turn left and right moves and vice versa. Even if I set it to simple panning it’s the same regards l22.

Even re recorded vocals. Main and backing. Same thing. Loud front. Quieter back. Day later. Same problem. Used sphere and Putnam. Same thing. Identical signal detected

I have sent to sub vocal. And also sound city room.sub.
no idea why it’s doing this.
Thanks

Sounds to me like you printed Sphere. You'll want to either monitor it only (blue light in Apollo), or print both wet and dry (you can see this in my vids in my signature).

Thanks so much. I will keep a close eye. Thing I don’t get is why it doesn’t stay on monitor. And always reverts back to record automatically.

it keeps the last used settings, normally. To enforce you can reload your tracking template into Console when you get ready to record, or use the Console Recall plug-in into your DAW session if what you load in Console is project dependent. Later is the safer since it overrides Console when you load the project.
