I'm running Big Sur. I'm also getting the same error and can't really see the updated GUI eve after updating to UAD 11.2. Still on the Legacy version.Sorry, but we've never supported Mojave for UAC or any of the native plugins. That it "worked" up to this point is a fluke.
You'll have to update to Catalina at least.
Same here in UK. I see iLok is having connection problems according to their website. I do have a USB C iLok so may be irrelevant. I'm running Ventura.I'm running Big Sur. iLok back up and UA Connect launches. Hmm.Same here in UK. I see iLok is having connection problems according to their website. I do have a USB C iLok so may be irrelevant. I'm running Ventura.
so is it just the ua connect error for you? or is yours still on the older Legacy version as well?Same here in UK. I see iLok is having connection problems according to their website. I do have a USB C iLok so may be irrelevant. I'm running Ventura.
It was just the ua connect error and I'm on the new console. Probably irrelevant but according to iLok website they were having all sorts of issues (mainly in Europe with authorisations in Cloud)so is it just the ua connect error for you? or is yours still on the older Legacy version as well?
It's working now! Probably just encountered the same issue here in Aus!It was just the ua connect error and I'm on the new console. Probably irrelevant but according to iLok website they were having all sorts of issues (mainly in Europe with authorisations in Cloud)
I beg to differ. I have a legit UAD Apollo Twin Quad Core with the free plugins suite, as well as the VST versions from UA specifically, and they still work today in my 2018 Intel Mac Mini running Mojave 10.14. I've had these since 2019. Not that long ago. Yet, a few days ago, I just purchased the old UA Fairchild 670 on sale from PLUGIN BOUTIQUE and I've somehow landed here demanding either an old version of the app or a refund. Now. Don't lie about not supporting Mojave though. This is just absolutely false. I'm not reinstalling my OS or updating on an old mac just for an old UAD plugin. A perfectly fitting solution, as other developers offer, across the board, is the older versions of the app before they had this dysfunctional UA Connect turd of a program, forcing me to rage all over the internet demanding a refund or simple retro-compatible solution.Sorry, but we've never supported Mojave for UAC or any of the native plugins. Indeed, they worked, but we never supported it. Why? because we knew there were tools we were using that would not allow it to work on Mojave long term.I beg to differ. The system requirements make it pretty clear you need Catalina or higher. Both on PB and on UA's site.Don't lie about not supporting Mojave though. This is just absolutely false.
The Fairchild collection was only added to native in March of 2023. So, the native version is not that old...If you're saying you can't support a current purchase of an old ass plugin for a not so old mac, aka me, where do I write about receiving the refund?
the sad fact of the matter is the current tool should be re programmed to support the older users of your product, or you will start getting more angry customers like me, and fast.Indeed, they worked, but we never supported it. Why? because we knew there were tools we were using that would not allow it to work on Mojave long term.
So there is no lie here. Users just never looked at the docs closely and because the early releases worked, assumed.

it still works, and I'm not following your customer support to brick it. Where do I get the refund? The system requirements make it pretty clear you need Catalina or higher. Both on PB and on UA's site.

I don't do refunds. I'm not Customer Support for UA. Drew already told you how to ask Support for a refund.it still works, and I'm not following your customer support to brick it. Where do I get the refund?
the bot won't let me create a ticket. It's telling me to uninstall and reinstall my software, despite telling me that my UAD powered plugins version 9.9.0 is compatible. FYI all my UAD plugins work fine, and I'm sure the 670 would, except this "new" UA Connect won't launch.... I've never had any issues with UA plugins since I've purchased them with the model: UAD 2 Apollo Twin MK2 Quad Core. Why would I risk bricking all my song projects if you admit UAD won't support my OS? Any ideas?Go to help.uaudio.com, click on the Support bot icon in the lower right corner and type “create ticket”
Did you type "create ticket"?the bot won't let me create a ticket. It's telling me to uninstall and reinstall my software, despite telling me that my UAD powered plugins version 9.9.0 is compatible. FYI all my plugins except this "new" Fairchild 670 work perfect, and have ever since I purchased them with the model: UAD 2 Apollo Twin MK2 Quad Core. Why would I risk bricking all my song projects if you admit UAD won't support my OS? Any ideas?
