Lion to AUX - impedance difference

I want to connect the Lion '68 with a Y cable to the AUX port of a portable speaker.
Is there a change of frying something? The aux input was probably made for smartphones, and has a very low impedance, where the Lion has 500 Ohms on the output.

I'm asking because I've read on many forums that you shouldn't connect low impedance speakers to high impedance amps, but UA says it's ok to connect low impedance headphones to the UAFX pedals, so I'm confused.

Lion is not a powered amp its line level and will be fine. What you are referring to is amps that are powered and meant for a speaker of a certain impedance . You will be fine.
