Well, while searching for components that work with UAD-1 for my upcoming PC upgrade, I realised how useful it would be if we had a list of working UAD-1 setups in the forum. The same thing has been done in other forums (Powercore, FXpansion etc.) and I think it could work here, too.

So, please post your working setup info here, including:

CPU
Motherboard w/BIOS version
Memory
Graphics card
How many UAD-1's
Any other DSP card you might be using
Audio card
PSU

DAW software
OS

Whether you use a Magma; if yes, which model.

Whether you use FX Teleport, VST link etc. and how.

How are your cards arranged in the Motherboard/Magma slots.

Post all setups here; I will later divide the setups into categories (P4, Athlon, Athlon64, X2 etc.) in the FAQ section.

I hope this will prove helpful. In case I omitted anything in the requested setup info, please tell me via PM, to keep this thread as clean as possible.

Thanks,

Akis

I am still using the same basic DAW that I built 5 years ago. It still works fine for my home studio needs. As long, as I have my (2) UAD-1's and Delta audio card, on their own IRQ's, everything works fine. I do have both UAD-1's sharing the same IRQ. Although, now that Cakewalk includes a 64bit Winxp64 compatible version, in SONAR 5, I may be tempted to upgrade to a 64bit DAW, in the near future. :)

PIII 1Ghz CPU
ASUS CUSL2-C BIOS v1.009
512MB 133
Nvidia TNT2-Pro AGP 32MB
(2) UAD-1's (v3.9)
Delta 66 (.27 drivers)
250W PS

WinXP SP1
SONAR 5
ACID Pro 5c
Project 5 2.01
Sound Forge 7b
