hi all of you

i m lost, i m a pc user and logic

so i take the decision to switch ti mac to work on logic pro 7

i m gonna buy a g4( prefer to spend my money in hardware and i own 2 pc yet)

i ve found a g4 bipro 800mhz, will it be as powered that my p4 2,5ghz?
( i run 7/8 vsti, 15 exs 24 and use my uad plugs for effects)

in logic 7 pro, is there full delai compensation, even on midi tracks (its really crap on logic 551, i have to use delay comp, i m not free in my mixing configuration)?

i ve searched on net but i need an explicit answer for delai comp and g4 bipro compatiblity

THANKS ALL

Used to have that Dual 800mhz machine. Try to get the next revision, Dual 867 or Dual 1.25, they are much better. Dual 800 had some minor issues.

get a dual 1.25 at least. this machine is supposed to last you for your future...

preferably get a dual 1.8 or dual 2 with pci slots, or whatever the fastest g5 you can get is, with a magma chassis
