I've made very good experiences by connecting two compressors after one another.
This technique is descussed in several threads in this forum.
Now I ask for a compressor to put after an Avalon 747 SP.
The 747 SP is ideal for shaping dynamics, grooves. The second compressor should be almost colorless (because \"painting\" is made with the 747) and should react very fast. It should act as an overall level control.
Any recommendations?
(BTW, Yes, I am fond of killing dynamics  and producing \"walls of sound\". )
